But why? Not to disrespect the UK, I love Brighton and London and the British culture, I´m just wondering....just curious. There are hundreds and thousands of British citizens moving to Germany each year, hence my question. Most of them settle down in Berlin and Hamburg. I like England, too but the weather and the cost of living are not really for me. I don't have an intelligent answer. I've just always been drawn to it. When I finally got to visit in 2006 and 2008, I fell in love with it. Especially, the countryside. I realize how expensive it is to live there though. I must admit, it was never a place that I dreamed of living. It is ridiculously expensive to live here and the weather can be very depressing. Especially for someone that is used to sunshine. The ppl here are really lovely though most of them ask me why I live here and wish they could move somewhere else. I guess that is why they have shows like "Wanted Down Under". Lots of ppl from the UK move elsewhere if/when they have the oppurtunity.

My parents live in Woodmancote, near Cheltenham. Such a nice part of England. Broadway's gorgeous, but a bit touristy. Why not go for somewhere a little smaller and quieter in the Cotswolds. MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!!

If I had unlimited money, I'd visit multiple times each year, but live? No.

Pick on Detroit, that's original
Every place has bad sections and areas that need to be demolished, including where you live with the toy cars. Here's the theater I go to, just outside of Detroit.

You're right. I do love that area but it was touristy. Hell, I was there. heehee. AND there weren't a lot of trees which I would prefer. That's it. It's decided I'm moving in with your parents. I think there are beautiful and ugly parts to each country. I lived in US for about a year and the thing that bothered me the most was how incredibly far everything is. You are driving for an hour in a car and you´re still in the same village while over here you´d get to another country. I hated the fact that I had to go by car everywhere. There were no sidewalks and when I tried to walk somewhere, cars were stopping asking me if something has happened to me. It felt very lonely, cause you are just constantly in your car. I love that I can just walk everywhere over here, I don´t need a car to get to the shop, cinema or post office and that I can be with people on the streets. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."
