They totally screwed the pooch with Half Blood Prince. Those that adapted the book to screenplay should never be allowed to adapt a book to screenplay again. EVER.

I actually thought they did a fair job with Goblet of Fire. I knew it was going to take a serious hit because of what they did to Prisoner of Azkaban and because there was so much to GOF's story, but I thought they did well.

For me, Half Blood Prince was butchered. They TOTALLY did not give Dumbledore's death the attention it deserved. Everyone in the theater should have left bawling, but it was glossed over to not make the story so "dark". GRRRR

That's not the only reason I think it was butchered, but it's one of the main ones. LOL

^The thing that pissed me off with Dumbledore's deatht is that rowling's left so many hints that he wasn't really dead or was being rejuvinated, the wailing of the phoenix shedding tears, the fact of a granite tomb, all that just for a red herring. meh
