I guess I do have a schedule: go to bed, wonder if I'll be able to sleep, fall asleep for five minutes, wake up feeling like I have slept for 10 hours, try to go back to sleep for 5 hours, fall into deep sleep at 9am get up at 9:01

it's only because my life is generally peaceful, otherwise

I am starting to believe that we only age because we get less sleep as we get older. If we could keep sleeping well, we'd stay young forever physically & mentally.

I might believe him if he meant physical labor, but other stressful types of work interfere with your sleep because you go to bed thinking about them

I can't complain too much, I'm a light sleeper, but I manage. But I'm sick right now, so I'm not sleeping well. sad

he was a dentist, concentrated yes, physical not so much, yet he would fall asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow, and his justification was that he worked harder than anybody in the entire universe rolleyes
anyway, as he got older, he still fell asleep easily, but started to wake earlier and earlier without being able to go back to sleep. He is very envious now, I can sleep a 12 hour stretch sometimes - I did that at his place last weekend! hah!

yeah I always hear that as you get older you wake up earlier & earlier. I slept until 12:00 twice this week! But I had been up until 4.

Sometimes I think people who are not very self conscious sleep better. They relax easier.

probably! or people who don't over analyse every situation, or are easily influenced by other's opinions on things
I've been told 2 things by people this week that are now swirling around in my brain over and over keeping me awake mad

I’m pretty much like clockwork no matter what schedule I’m on. These days on weeknights I like to head to the bedroom between 9 and 9:30 pm and I’m generally asleep by 10:30 at the latest. I read each night before falling asleep, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 90, but I have a hard time getting to sleep without a book. On weekends that shifts about an hour later. I have a really hard time being out and about past 9 even these days. And getting up at 8 am on a Saturday is majorly sleeping in. And I need at least 7.5-8 hours of sleep a night or I’m all off.

In my late teens and early 20’s I was a major night owl. I would be up till 4-5am regularly. But I slept just as late.

wow. your schedule matches mine to a T, only i was never a night owl.

Some might sleep. I always have stayed up too late got up too early. I sleep when I can then back on the grind. Night and day. Day and night.

I never have a usual bedtime. Never have. I don't stay out all night. I sleep when all action stops. Then after rest begin it all again. Up again.

Lately mine has been pretty out of wack. I'm lucky that my work hours are flexible because I would be fired by now for arriving at 10 AM everyday. I just have trouble falling asleep at a decent hour and more trouble waking up on time. I usually feel exhausted around 6 PM, but that's too early to go to sleep. Then around 9 or 10, I get a second wind I guess, and have trouble sleeping. Then I am up til well past midnight. It happens probably 3 or 4 days out of the work week.

Since undergrad, my sleep schedule has never really been "in wack." confused I try to be in bed by 11 p.m., but unless I drug myself I can never know the time I'll fall asleep. And because classes start very early on some days and very late on others, my wake time is undeterminate also.

My sleep schedule is usually pretty normal.
Except lately, I've been staying up really late... like until 7 AM and then sleeping until noon.

I try to get to bed by 9:30, I get up at 1:30 for work. I catch an hour of sleep when I get home. Then on weekends I am up till 11:00 or 12:00 and sleep till 8 or 9

I don't really have a schedule, I go to bed when I'm tired. It takes me approximately 4 - 5 minutes to fall asleep.

I never wake up during the night. And I get about 7 hours sleep every night. Which is more than sufficient for me.

It's 8:50 and I am just now waking up. My alarm was set for 5:40. Needless to say, this kind of throws of my schedule for the day.

not enough sleep..
i have trouble falling asleep..especially if it's before midnight..
there are night owls here..
and they don't seem to care what you could be doing at 1 or 2am...
i get sleepy around 10:30 /11:00pm..but i don't go to bed cuz i know they will wake me up!!
my favorite thing for them to do is walk in my room woithout knocking and saying loudly''you in bed already??!!'' confused
they think it's funny..or just really don't give a shit..
on top of all that, i'm a light sleeper..
so alot of the time when i do get to sleep i feel like i was just getting to good sleep when i have to wake..they are the reason i can't get an early morning job!!
gotta be a midshift or later..
not that i'm really a morning person.. giggle
sun 'why y'all trying to say goodbye? I didn't go anywhere, I'm right here, im all around you,always..' sun

in a line from my dream, I heard a voice and saw a silhouette in a chair..
