It already has a Ferrari engine in it, so I'll let that do the talking. Loud colors on exotics make me think the person is trying too hard to be noticed and that's not me at all. That's why I like the Maserati cuz the body styling is jazzy but understated. Last time I went to the dealership dude was trynna talk me into a Ferrari California which is comparable in price. And I let him know, that when I step out the car I need to be the star not the car. He was prolly thinkin' "Heffa, get yo broke ass outta my showroom!"

Then the lil ham would turn his head in the wind while riding to feel the breeze. He was a MESS!

Not impressed plus they're pretty common and there's not a REAL backseat. Exclusivity/rareness is part of the attraction to the Maserati for me. I don't want something I can see all day long on the streets. [Edited 1/15/10 10:17am]

Graycap23 said: Not much different.[/quote] I can tell. The problem for me is that there's barely a difference between a regular XK and an XKR. Therefore, you see those coming and going all day long in Dallas. You hardly ever see a Maserati plus it's Italian so you're getting a Ferrari engine at a discount. Jaguar's do not appeal to me at ALL, especially since they are now basically Fords.

Yeah, I know that's why I'm not getting another one UNLESS my car has some catastrophic issue in the near future (fingers and toes crossed that it doesn't) That's why I love the one I have now because the color made it special. I've only seen 4 that color in 9 years and never seen a convertible.

I'm talking about the Ferrari fire engine red and Chiquita banana yellow colors that you usually see exotics in. When I see a dude in a loud color like that, it makes me think he has a small penis. I did the silver (which I'm really not crazy about) cuz it was a bigger contrast with the navy blue top and interior. [Edited 1/15/10 10:37am]
