this part is a little unfair, though, why does it have to be something violent? lol

And who knows what twisted fantasies are going through your head with your toy?

most of these dolls don't move much, you do have to manoevre them into position nod lol I'm not really inferring violence - flipping around a blow up lady is what came to my mind falloff

I can use a vibrator to a successful end without even undressing or moving, nothing like real sex IMO.

exactly, it's whatever YOU make of it, men want it to be what it is--as close to being with a woman as possible without having to go through any actual effort.

I have to say once again, I can't imagine the man who actually buys one of these things!

well I was sort of joking about the mindset of the person who spends thousands on something like this. lol But I'm trying to defend a man's mindset in general.

What you might see as dehumanizing is simply a way to satisfy one's self. We could call a vibrator some kind of robot fantasy, but I see it as just an efficient way of getting a woman off that may work well with her psychologically, too.

A doll is the same thing. Why should it be gross or disrespectful just because you don't think it's sexy?

I just don't think a woman doll is equal to a dildo or vibe, a fleshlight is, I agree.

How I see it? A vibrator or dildo is something women use when they are single (or even with a RL partner). In most cases. If the man in my life right now lived near me I wouldn't need it at all. It's good to use on the phone when talking to my man. So, in most cases it is just a substitute until you find someone or until you are with that person you are involved with. But these dolls are for men who just want a woman who will shut the fuck up or talk about football. I can't really see a guy using one of these dolls while he's talking to his lover across the country, can you?

No, this is what they wish women would act like in real life. Whereas I don't want my man to act like a dildo in real life.

There was a thread before about this and a video documenting the men who buy these things was up. I don't feel like finding it right now but I will.

I agree with you on that point, that is removing the human element nod
however, (although black adder was careful to use the word dildo) instead of vibrator, vibes do things humans can't lol so it's something else altogether

I totally disagree, I think something so extreme like this is for men who don't know how to have a relationship with a woman, meaning they're probably too scared/psychologically scarred.

That is my point too. There has to be a big market for these things or they wouldn't go to all the trouble of even making them. So either there are a lot of psychologically scarred men out there or... hmmm

and there is no stigma surrounding the use of a vibe for a woman, since it isn't a man replacement by any means

this pretend woman is ultimately for those who want a woman replacement, for those who can't or won't relate to a REAL woman shrug

and that's a frightening thought

but if selling these to men who might otherwise try to dominate and use force on a real woman to get her to do what he wants against her will, then perhaps it's not a bad thing?

Sadly, I don't believe a man who wants to dominate or humiliate a female will be satisfied with this thing. They won't be able to see fear in their eyes. They will just use this thing first and then go find a real woman to abuse. shrug

I don't think it necessarily HAS to replace a woman, it's just that if you're spending thousands and devoting part of your closet to it, you probably ARE replacing one! lol But make it $40 and fit into a drawer, and more normal guys might buy one.

Look at it this way. Guys use porn all the time. That looks like a woman, but doesn't feel like a woman. The doll sort of feels AND looks like a woman.

Porn is visual stimulation, vibrators are physical. This is physical & visual (I completely disregard the talking aspect of it, I don't believe for a second that guys buy these things to talk to them!)

I agree that a fleshlight might be closer in design to a dildo, but I think all these things--porn, vibrators, dolls--all serve the same purpose, and all can be over used, abused, and unfortunately end up as a substitute for a real relationship for some people.

Maybe because men have been know throughout time to deny women the right to seek their own... shrug Think chastity belts, the Bible, religion, the inherent double standard that still pervades society, and the list could go on and on and on.
