We had many birds growing up,different types of Cockatoos (Goffin, Umbrella and a Sulfur Crested) , and Parrots including
Eclectus Parrot like this one, female, her name was Baby.

As an adult, I have no desire to have a bird of any kind. They are too messy and I feel they deserve to be out in the wild, not in a cage.

i live with birds. in fact, right now they are in the other room, chowing down on corn, toast, celery, seeds and millet.

so when i saw this thread i asked them if it would be okay to post some of their material, like the clip where my little canary, Gizmo, teaches himself to surf in the bathtub (that bird will try ANYthing), but Gizmo wants to release that himself on YouTube, because he's hoping for a movie deal.

then, i wanted to post the clip of my african grey, Millicent, trying on my clothes while i'm away at work but even though the pictures of her walking around in my stilettos is totally hilarious she said she'd poop in my coffee every morning if i photowhore her in any way on this thread.

i also have some really amusing pictures of the time my sun conure, Lucy, stole my car keys and drove to florida to meet up with a parakeet she met online for spring break. but, Lucy's naked on the beach in a lot of those and plus, she's really shy, so she put the ka-bosh on posting those pics here.

so, that leaves me posting this

awww..i love the wee birdies. I always had a budgie or cockatiel growing up. My big sis has 2 parrots that will surely outlive her.
