If you could be more attractive than you are

would it really be of any benefit to you in your current life?

I don't think I'm attractive at all, but if I were attractive, I probably wouldn't be as shy and paranoid lol

No. It may even be detrimental. I'm not sure I'd like to know what it'd be like to be a really good-looking but also already married Englishman in Bangkok. lol

we'll never know, will we!

I think lots of folks think "if only…" about a lot of things, but I wonder if that would really change. Superhot folks are often as insecure if not more so, because if you were like the most attractive person in the world, like Dave1992, for example, wouldn't you worry that people are only wanting to be with you because you LOOK good?

that is how I make myself feel better anyway tease

I'm as attractive as a I want to be! I used to not like the way I look. Then I realized that I have all the features I like on other men, that I didn't like on my self, which was so retarded of me. But no, I'm good! thumbs up!

depends which life.

my personal life? yes.

my work life? yes.

my creative life? no. it would probably be a hinderance.

your appearance definitely would have an influence on you in many ways, confidence, values, view of the world etc. The way you get treated is supposedly better the more attractive you are. What kind of character does a person develop if everything comes too easy? DOES it come easy if you are more attractive?

no, because exploring my creative talents and working on them is how i make up for my mediocre looks. pretty people tend to just slide by with their loks, and then often have nothing when beauty fades.

had i been conventionally pretty, i would have probably been in that category.

plus, i have been thin and pretty at times. the thing about being so is all the shallow stupid people it attracts for the wrong reasons. nowdays, my looks are a defense mechanism against those people. then when i am in a relationship, i tend to slim down and care about my looks.

i jokingly call it my beauty and the beast syndrome to my therapist.

It really was! Ask Alej! We talked about it. I'm dead serious though...The only thing I want is some fat sucked out my face. I want Grace Jones' face structure.

Nope, looks fade. It's nice to be considered beautiful and all, but if there's not an intelligent mind or sharp wit to back it up, it does not mean much.

if you look back on famous people who are well known for something they created, are they attractive?

I betcha they weren't! so that left them free to pursue their calling, gave them something to PROVE.

Maybe that's why if you are fantastic looking, you can't be taken seriously for your art?

does being attractive preclude you from having substance?

Lots of people are beautiful and intelligent and witty.

And looks fading doesn't always happen either,
