Video projector info needed

I may be in the market for a video projector that will be used in seminar settings, for a crowd of up to 100 people. The images from the projector will be shown while the lights are on in the room.

Do these things come with PowerPoint loaded? Can you put your presentation on a USB stick directly into the projector, or do you have to connect the projector to a laptop?

Our budget is probably around $2,000. Will that get the job done?

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Shit!

I wish I was still friends with my ex. He'd tell you.
They're really really really good now for much less than they were just 3 years ago.

I know he had one that was around $1500 or so and it was pimp. But I don't know shit about them. boxed

If your budget is $2000, Buy that for $1000, and get a travel mini pc, airbook, or pc notebook to go with it!

we used to rent them for presentations. they will ship them to you too. you can call and feel them out about it. they would at least be able to tell you what kind and model you need, then you can buy one.

i also recommend that if you buy one, go through staples. their rewards program will get you quite a bit of buyback in store credit on 2000.
