Urban Meyer Steps Down as Coach of Florida After coaching in Florida's Bowl Game, Urban Meyer, Coach of THE FLORIDA GATORS WILL STEP DOWN due to health related reasons. In his 5 years as coach Meyer lead the Gators to 2 national championships. He also led Utah to an undefeated season and a BCS bowl. Most importantly he did it all with integrity. Urban Meyer, one of my coaching heroes, my prayers are with you. Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.
