Australia's got a shitty draw.

Bugger! sad

We'll be struggling to get past Ghana & Serbia for 2nd spot.

But you never know!

...As long as they've gotten rid of that cheating ref that knocked us out of the last World Cup. mad

Anything can happen in the group stage mate, anyone can beat anyone, even Germany, I'm still expecting GER and OZ to go thru to the second round, where we might end up facing ENGLAND.

BRAZIL - 5 times (on 4 different continents, been in EVERY WORLD CUP)
ITALY - 4 times (only in Europe)
GERMANY - 3 times (only in Europe)
ARGENTINA 2 times (only in Latin America)
URUGUAY 2 times (only in South America)
ENGLAND 1 time - at home
FRANCE 1 time - at home

I wonder who the continent of AFRICA will favor? The Europeans or The Sth Americans? We'll find out in 7 months, oh, and I don't mean 2 disregard the AFRICAN, ASIAN and OCEANIC nations, their time will come, but not yet.

I would go mental if we faced England in the 2nd round.

...And if we won. excited

The ashes are one thing, but the World Cup!! hah!

OK, OK, I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself. boxed

Seriously, if we made it to the 2nd round again, I'd be pretty satisfied with that.

Like the other Scots on here, I'll be supporting anyone who plays England, but I also have the get out of jail free card of Italian ancestry whereby I can actually support a team instead of peddling my wee man syndrome to all and sundry.

But seriously, I hope they get fucked. razz
