in my car everyone has to

the law now states here that the driver must pull over and make an attempt at persuading the passengers to put on their belts if the aren't wearing them

just became law here that kids up to four have to be in an approved car seat/capsule...and kids-4-7 need to be in a harness.

My big hate is when I see Parents with belts on but the kids in the back have no belts - that's when I always wish a police car would drive past.

The older I get, the more I want to ditch them on short trips to the store or around the neighborhood. I can actually feel myself getting older when this happens.

But I always tell myself, "How stupid would it be to die in a wreck a half mile from home because you didn't put on your seatbelt?"

And so I always put it on.
