So here is how today is going so far.

My phone is getting shut off tomorrow cuz I can't pay 4 it. So I won't.be online for a bit.

Anyway I gave all my contacts including my atty Jesus with the heavy equiptments phone number to get a hold of me at.

My atty who I'm deathly afraid of left a cocky voicemail on jesuses phone so he took it upon himself to call her back and attempt to tell her off and she hung up on him. Now I'm scared to even return her call.

In the meantime I get a letter from dometics that my husband is taking me back to court, for the second time, the day before Christmas eve, to try to lower his support.....that he isn't even paying.

I don't know anything about e-harmony, but can someone answer this one? Does e-harmony hook people up, even though they're married. Does e-harmony do a background check on a persons marital status? I'm scratching my head over this confuse

We'll be here sending out good vibes for you, Girl. Do the right thing, be truthful, be your best for your children, yourself and others...and I'm certain that no weapons formed against you shall prosper. rose

...the thing that gets me about divorce is not the idea that person one doesn't want to be with the other...but damn, can't they just engage in what is necessary for the split for the best of everyone involved? And not that he is not entitled to find new love, but little Miss E-Harmony should not be all up in the crawl of your stuff before he resolves his issues with you and your children and your jointly owned property. I empathize with your sense of betrayal and disappointment at that. It is unsettling. neutral confused neutral

I'm mad about your phone now confused hug

"A study last year from the US called The Paradoxical Consequences of Revenge examined our beliefs about the satisfaction vengeance will bring. The psychologists behind the study created a situation where someone was co-opted to take financial advantage of a group of people. Participants were then given an opportunity to punish the offender, and were asked how exacting revenge would make them feel.

The subjects all expected to reap hedonic, cathartic rewards and believed it would help them feel better. But in fact they ended up feeling worse. Those who went for punishment continued to ruminate about the offender, whereas those who did not punish moved on.

Rather than providing closure, taking revenge did the exact opposite: it kept the wounds open and fresh, the study found. In matters of the heart, the ultimate revenge is indifference."

I totally believe that.

I also believe that living well is the best revenge. giggle In the end, you'll be without that sorry MF in your life (though still connected because of your kids) and from the sound of it, you are so much better off without that douche.

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this Dani, it really sucks huge amounts of ass.

Hang in there and keep your head up! All kinds of love and positive energy coming your way!

My ex has send a disposition to my job for custody of my daughter, and he hasn't paid child support since the day she was born. My former co-workers told me to be careful because that's a setup for child support from me. Just when folks think they have a plan, the man upstairs has one, too. I lost my job shortly after, so the plan didn't work. Everything in life happens for a reason no matter how hard it hurts.
