There was a time when my wife and I worked at the same company. I had left to concentrate on my own business but was still invited to the party as her guest(duh...).

I sat next to my former Boss (who was a cool guy!) but I kept stealing his fork which I would then eventually pass over to his wife.

Funny as hell!! His wife thought it was hilarious and he mentioned the vanishing fork in his State of the Company speech... falloff

They're divorced now and they shut the business down... confused

Clearly, it is your fault.

really? They closed about two years after my wife and I had left... god I hope not... doh!

PinkOrchid

I only went to one Christmas party, back in my old crappy job..I didn't go to the previous two parties before that
So I ended up meeting my boyfriend in this job (who I have been with for years) he started working there a year after me, so he convinced me to go to the party I got all dressed up had a nice short skirt on and low cut top and looked ok, I looked so different to how I looked everyday in work

and you know what my lovely charming boyfriend did? well I got very drunk as two drinks of anything and I'm gone and my charming fella was dancing the night away with this middle aged boyish flat chested woman who worked in accounting..twice I had to go over to him to stop him dancing with her and twice I caught her sitting on his knee, I think he disapeared with her outside for awhile too neutral

So obviously he was 'with' her for most of the night, I was so drunk I didn't even realise for ages. I left the job two months after that as I was so hurt and embarrased as I knew everyone was talking about him being with her, and the worst part was she was so boyish looking and middle aged and was like a mouse and so not the type to do that with a co-workers boyfriend
I would never have ever thought he would look at her in that way, he was only in his early twenties at the time I swear she was 40 something..and she was the bosses daughter too

..and years later I'm still with this guy, that's how dumb I am

shucks my mom has told me about stories like this at work Christmas parties disbelief It's amazing how some people use so much blatant disrespect.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
