Hello everyone,

I was listening to some Prince stuff in my car today (which, due to the delay in being allowed to post, was actually Saturday), and so, being a life-long Prince/Minneapolis funk fan (ever since I saw the 1999 video in 1983 while I was round at an American friend’s house), I decided to do something I’ve been meaning to do for a long time - join a Prince forum.

Unfortunately, I then had to wait 5 days to be allowed to post (is this some sort of cooling off period to protect new members who may not be in their right minds after hearing Purple Rain on the radio?).

Anyhoo....on the admittedly flimsy basis that people who like the same kind of music as me might be of like mind, I’m here to have a bit of banter, maybe go to a couple of fan nights and whatever else turns up.

Here’s a bit of background for all those psychological profilers out there:
