I agree! But then again, I doubt we'd actually watch it.

If you rent season one on DVD or Blu-ray... you're in for a treat. If you like scifi/mystery/monster/horror/romance/drama

I just never seem to get round to it. It's kinda like since I've missed the boat on it so badly I'll always feel behind, even if I see it and enjoy it. I like to be there the first time round along with everyone else. Same with sports events, it's about seeing it as it happens, even if that's just on TV.

Maybe I'll borrow the first season from a friend and just see what the fuss is about.

I hope it's worth investing six years of my life into it!

Any money a lot of the hardcore fans are disappointed at the end.....?

Regardless, the ride so far has been enjoyable so I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun.

Come on February!!!

Yes!

Warning: it's a sloooow burn though. There are enough twists to keep you hooked but it went slightly off the rails in season three.

I tried to get hooked in the 2nd season, but never, ever getting any answers got old after a while. I haven't paid any attention since then. Do we know at all why these folk are trapped on this island yet?

Ooooh...second season was a clincher in terms if stay or go. I watched it but I absoloutely hated all the hatch bullshit. I'd love to watch them all again with my wife but I can't face season 2 EVER AGAIN!!!

You´ll get your answers if you stay patient.
lol

Lost is one of, if not THE best TV series EVER.

I love it.There´s definitely something missing without Lost.

I'll watch seasons 1 & 2 again, then move through 3, 4 & 5 in time for the final in February. Perfect.

you have my respect if you can willingly face season 2 again...in sure it has a great "ooh I missed that before" value but I just couldn't face it ever again.

They have so many things tie up this season and there are a number if things that better not turn out to be insignificant after the fuss they've made.

As I said before - sadly I know the final shot and I know the significance of 'Adam & Eve' ... But I wish I didn't because it's spoiled a large section for me... I know somebody who i thought, at first, was throwing me nonsence....but they told me pretty much all the key points of season 5 down to who Jacob meets and touches, who was in the hut the finale of season 5 with Locke.

"Adam & Eve"?

"Jacob"?

I'm lost. And thanks. I really am going to start from the beginning - starting today. I love it that I don't have to wait after every episode!

I"m trying so hard to avoid spoilers too. I've managed to make it this far without a spoiler and if anyone tells me what's going to happen I'm likely to do some serious murder smile

I remember waiting for The Dark Knight for almost two years. Then the morning I was going to go and see it, a friend blurted out who died. disbelief

I'm same with the Sopranos...I'm 2 eps from end and somebody yold me the conclusion.

It's a cliche but the same happened with Fight Club too

Really, really, really looking forward to it, although I'm slightly conerned about this time travel thing. Mostly sucks in TV shows.

From what I'm reading, that will come to an end this upcoming season. About a third of the way through, everything becomes perfectly linear.

Cant come quick enough. I definitely think the shorter seasons have helped this show a lot since season 4. There is a lot of filler in seasons 1 - 3 which does slow the pace down a bit. While there are some episodes in both seasons 4 and 5 that do feel a bit like filler they always have some interesting stuff going on to keep you hooked into it.
