My dog Winston - dirty paws in this picture .
He was diagnosed with cutaneous lymphoma in September. Please send him positive, healing thoughts. "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive."

His name is Mee. I love this doggie. You mean you love how this doggie was 1 year ago. He's still cute, I guess, in an asshole, jumps up on you, always dirty, will probably bite someone sooner or later, kind of way. Our doggie jumps up too because his daddy allows it some times. He does not seem to know when he can and cannot. They needs consistent training and boundaries along with exercise and stimulation. Lately, our pup has not been getting all that he needs since we are busy dealing with the other small creature in the house.

Lately, our pup has not been getting all that he needs since we are busy dealing with the other small creature in the house. Yeah, I feel bad for him honestly. There just isn't the time for us since we're usually 'training' our nephew. But seriously, he definitely needs some discipline, but more than that, some love and affection. He's very unruly, but with the family it's not so bad because he's used to us, but he's really quite a nuisance with others. He's fed, but not at a regular time or with any consistency as far as what he's eating. Nobody ever strokes him, but then he's always filthy so who would? Needless to say then that nobody keeps him clean. It's harsh but at the end of the day we didn't know anything about the family getting him (Mon's brother bought the original 3 pups to sell) and he's not our responsibility. Mon's taught him to sit and wait when she's putting food in his bowl, but ultimately we resent a little her brother fobbing off everything on everyone else. Never had so much as one 'thank you' for looking after his boy New for several hours a day. p.s. Your doggy's jealous? Awww... . A dog is something you have to have time and patience for. I am sure that he does want affection and positive attention. They get into trouble when left to their own devices. It is good that Mon has trained him to "sit" and "leave it". Those are 2 basic commands that help a lot.

It is good that Mon has trained him to "sit" and "leave it". Those are 2 basic commands that help a lot. You know he's a good dog under all that playing up. I think just getting older is calming him down a bit, so that's good. He doesn't go quite so nuts when we come home, but still, he's pretty boisterous. He runs right into New, knocks him down sometimes, but New just cracks up. They're like best buddies. Sometimes the gate will be shut and Mee will be outside and he'll lie down and put his nose under the bottom of the gate. New goes and sits on this side and does the same thing. I think Mon's a doggie person and would be great with Mee if she had a little more time to spend with me. Me, I just try to make sure I get some nice snacks for him and play around with him sometimes when I've time.
