This is probably a dumb question, but fuck it, I'm askin anyway.

Now that Mr. Grant's got me thinkin about dragz ...I have some old drag pageant performances on dvd that I'd love to get on youtube and share but I have no idea how, or if it's even possible.

If anyone knows how and can tell me...

Use Handbrake (www.handbrake.fr) to rip the videos to MOV (or whatever) format, then just upload those to YouTube (I use Vimeo....nicer site).

Hey, I got step one! I downloaded the Handbreak program thingie.

OK, I've actually gotten stuff off the dvd's and onto my computer which I'm to have achieved.

Now when I load stuff to Youtube, it comes out with a delay (out of synch).

This is drag stuff, I can't be havin no out of synch.

I read someplace in the youtube help forums that apparently this sometimes happens with mov??

So now I'm trynna see if I trim the files as mpeg (quicktime worked perfect for trimming, but made them mov). So I downloaded a program (AVS video converter). I'm trying to do it with the free version (which will have a watermark ) but don't wanna have to pay $40 to just do a few vids unless I know it's actually gonna work.

I'm getting frustrated.
