I assume when this type of thing happens in public that it must be a regular occurrence. My GF & I are way too private to argue in public, and we barely ever argue in private!

yeah hmmm

maybe they have spectacular make-up sex later?

I would seriously doubt it. If he still wants that, that would be crazy. I would turned off like a blown light bub.

I just think she was playing with fire.

I don't advocate violence, ever, but some people do seem to provoke it. Sounds like a woman that WILL get hit, even if hitting her is the wrong thing to do.

I like how this is worded.

punch

In grammar it would be a sentence in the 'passive aggressive'? lol

She was looking for a fight, trying to lure him into a physical confrontation so she could ruin his whole fucking life with arrests and charges. I hate when women play that game. The laws were put there to protect women who face real danger, who cannot get away from abusive men. Then you got dumb bitches like this playing with the law for their own amusement. Too bad he didn't have like a sister nearby who could slap her back for him.....

(and if he were to pursue assault charges (since they were originally set up to protect women) the charges wouldn't stick...that's just the way it is.)
Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

I hate that too. Not only because it hurts the men in the relationship but because it makes those women who really are in danger look bad. People will hesitate to believe them, call them liars and tear them down all because of something some other bitch did disbelief

I would not stay with anyone that talked to me that way. I would have walked or driven away with or without her.

But I do believe that there are fighting words and actions. If someone wants to fight 'like a man' then I would not be too hard on the fella. In this situation it is easy to say "he can leave." But if the woman is abusive she is abusive.

Woman stay with abusive thugs all the time. I would not judge them. So I can imagine a situation of abuse that could get to the point where a man might have to be a man.

You know...in this situation, I would leave because I wouldn't be sure how far I'd allow someone to push me before I snapped.

When I just listened to her, I imagine that at some point in the future, someone is going to knock the shit out of her or maybe even kill her. She was just that bad.

Not only was she yelling, she was asking him "what you gonna do?" I was like damn...

My feeling is if she did that in public then what does she do in private? He could be a prisoner for all we know. I hope we all see it for what it is, an abusive situation. this is 2009 woman's lib and equal rights mean woman can be abusive monsters just as well. (even if they get paid less)

I guess it is possible that he is the abuser and she finally snapped. but either way I hope they get the help they need.

Oh, okay. Yeah.

But honestly- in a case like that, if she's "man enough" to keep goading him, then it sounds like she deserved to get knocked back a peg. Verbal abuse, hitting him, AND public humiliation... she went for the Triple Crown!
If he had put the Holy Smackdown on her, then everyone would be all over him... confused

But I wasn't there, so....

I Know. To think about this is disturbing, because it seems like a lot of women are killed like this. Everyone that tried to stop her she just flat out cussed them out. And when the police came, it got worse. She took the car keys and threw them straight into a wooded area. The guy was like telling her to chill. He was sort of nervous too. I just was thinking to myself that she was crazy as hell to go after a man like that.

And if he had just popped her, the cops would have been all over his ass.

And that's it...

Domestic violence: emotional abuse are behaviors used by one person in a relationship to control the other. Partners may be married or not married; heterosexual, gay, or lesbian; living together, separated or dating.

Violence can be criminal and includes physical assault (biting, choking, hitting, kicking, pushing/shoving, etc.), sexual abuse (unwanted or forced sexual activity), and stalking. Although emotional, psychological and financial abuse are not criminal behaviors, they are forms of abuse and can lead to criminal violence.

By definition, she's not the [i]abusee
she's the abuser.

I think it's not because of your fear of snapping that you would leave lol you'd leave long before that because you are too smart to be together with someone like that - I doubt you would have got together with a woman with her issues in the first place.
