Jim Carrey and Living Colour?

I wonder why Jim Carrey has never done a film with any of his Living Colour castmates? Any clues?

Which one?

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. He played that tribes "secret weapon" and they had a hilarious fight scene. For some reason I think there's another one, but I'm not sure about that.

In living color was more of a Wayan brothers thing right? If the Wayans were busy doing their own thing and other dude.. David Allen Grier was too busy up Eddie Murphy's ass then I can see why Jim Carrey didn't work with them after the show.
