dyeing clothes-help................... quick question
i wanna dye some trousers. They're grey cotton-more mid than dark and not too thick or heavy. can i dye em' ANY colour or do i have to go darker-ie navy or something thnaks in advance | |

You're going to have to keep the color dark because the color you choose is going to be added to the color they already are. So they're going to end up darker anyway. So if you pick say a bright purple, they might end up an eggplant shade if they are already a medium grey. Pick a kelly green, and it will probably end up more of a forest green, etc.
Color remover does exist, which you could use on them first and then try your new color, but I think the fabric has to be 100% cotton.
