You like the look of the movie then more than anything else? lol

well no. i am a very visual person. the aesthetics and the story have to be good in order to please. but there are some instances in which the aesthetics are great but the stories suck! with these movies i only watch them once! the others i keep in the my dvd player for a very long time!

here's an other example of my non existing genre, the movie is called hansel and gretel! a korean horror movie with tinges of fantasy horror. i really do hope you like it!

also if i am allowed i would like to include vincent price as a proto-fantasy horror actor! lol

What the hell were they saying lol Looks like a Grudge reject lol

Asian horror flicks tend to be too creepy for me... (The ring, grudge ) all seem to be the products of horrible dreams.

Another movie I love to hate watching is Devil's Advocate.

The film adaptation of the novel The Space Vampires, by Colin Wilson. A space exploration crew brings back a human-looking, vampire-like “space girl,” who threatens to bring about Armageddon. It is at turns a science fiction, vampire and disaster film. (Directed by Tobe Hooper)

I don't care what they say..I love this movie. heart razz

btw the lead in mansion of black rose was played a the famous drag queen, akihiro miwa(an idol of mines). i think he kinda looked like a girl in some scenes! he is a really good actor in my own opinion.

falloff that bad huh?

one of the very few times i've been tempted to turn off a movie before it's over. it goes beyond apathy and just being completely disinterested to being on the verge of active hatred and venom for what you are watching.

I thought Lost Boys sucked. Near Dark blows that movie away. It's about a young cowboy (Heroes' Adrian Pasdar) in Oklahoma that gets seduced and turned by vampire and has no choice but to join her sadistic clan while his Dad and sister search for him.

Twilight is for teenage girls who don't have the balls to want to be Buffy or are too young to have been exposed to her lol

Most of the movie she walks around completely nude and sucks the life out of people. They then become vamps and suck on others. lol

It's awesome. A mysterious beast terrorizes southern France until an expert taxidermist and his Native American sidekick (who happens to be a master in martial arts) are asked by the king to investigate.

I love vampire movies! nod
There are so many, and I'll sit thru most of them... even the cheesiest! tv
I love the Asain ones with subtitles.

"Twilight"?! mad

I'm sorry but I HATE Anne Rice! shake (Don't bother to try and convince me talk to the hand)
I don't care how good people think Cruise and Pitt looked in "Interview..." (I don't rolleyes)... and Alliyah- May She Rest in Peace- if it wasn't for the fact that the vampire was FINE in "Queen of the Damned".... doh! MY GOD that movie sucked!

And I also love werewolves! biggrin

"Love Hurts.
Your lies, they cut me.
Now your words don't mean a thing.
I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..."

fantasy horror in self is not a genre(rather a term used by me and kaya) i used to describe movies that tinge on fantasy/sci-fi with horror. as a Le Fanu Fan i am very interesting in stories with a gothic aesthetic.

but do see the movie

I like this term 'fantasy horror' smile I tend to like movies like that too
If you will, so will I
