Just keep in mind that Doctor is anti shots to begin with so her reasoning and info is biased. I agree with her to some extent but she should not be taken as anyone's single source on information on this subject.

Louis Farrakhan: H1N1 Vaccine Developed to Kill People
Tuesday , October 20, 2009
http://www.foxnews.com/pr...43,00.html

ADVERTISEMENTNation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan said the H1N1 flu vaccine was developed to kill people, UPI reported.

"The Earth can't take 6.5 billion people. We just can't feed that many. So what are you going to do? Kill as many as you can," Farrakhan reportedly said during an event in Memphis, Tenn. "We have to develop a science that kills them and makes it look as though they died from some disease."

The 76-year-old added that many wise people won't take the vaccine, according to UPI.

His comments were made during an event to observe the group's Holy Day of Atonement, and also marked the 14th anniversary of the Million Man March in Washington.

took the words RIGHT off my keyboard Roodi! 'once... Thought I was gonna die'

Of course there is one school of thought that says that if you have already had a strain of flu then you will have developed a base immunity, so any other strains that you catch won't effect you as harshly as it would in others who have never had flu. I think this may hold some weight as I've got swine flu now and it's nowhere NEAR the flu I had before
I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

I got my H1N1 Flu Shot this morning at 9:45am Central Time. It's now 12:15pm and I just feel like a little girl has punched me in the arm. So no real side effects so far.

It was very easy in my province, I only had to wait 30 minutes, filled out a simple form, read the information sheet, got the painless needle and sat in the recovery area watching Mr. Bean for 15 minutes.

I'll post again later today to tell you how I'm feeling at that time.

Me and my three kids got ours over a week ago. Nothing happened. It actually hurt less than the regular flu shot.

My mom was diagnosed with H1N1 on Sunday, and even with no underlying health problems, she got very, very sick. Today is first day of starting to feel better.

I've deciced to get the H1N1 Flu Shot. I volunteer at Canadian Blood Services, and they have made a big request for volunteers to be available to work extra time incase the H1N1 virus becomes a big deal and people will still need blood. So for that reason I'm going ahead with it the first week of November. I hope there won't be an ill feeling right after, but I'm prepared for it.

What about you?

Absolutely not! Never had a flu vaccine and never will. My immune system is strong and I follow a healthy diet and regime, besides I've already had the swine and it was a piece of piss.

Are you sure it was the real deal?

It's now 7:05pm Central Time, and I feel fine outside of a little more soreness in my left shoulder. I don't feel like my mind is under government control, I'm not paralyzed and I'm not dead. lol

My daughter is getting it at her school( offered free in her school district) so she is getting it she wants it.

Me I still have to make appt to get it(insurance) plus I'm on high risk which don't help. But its the money for it is what's delaying it ( copay at dr office and cost of shot/spray what ins. don't pay for)

I've never had a flu shot and I'm not going to start now.

That said, it is extremely rare for me to get the flu. And I haven't gotten sick at all (that I can recall) since I quit smoking over a year ago.

I wash my hands frequently and I don't hang out with the diseased. Here's hoping all goes well for me.

Ditto for me (except for the quitting smoking part).
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
