I remember this time for the Bay Area. I didn't understand why he killed Harvey Milk until many years later. Even though I was young I was affected by the mere fact that 900 people drank koolaid at the instruction of a mad man and then yet another mad man walked into city hall and killed mayor moscone and supervisor milk because he didn't get his way.
these events affected me more than I even knew, now I know. RIP Mr. Milk and Mr.Moscone
