I LOVE Yu Yu Hakusho along with One Piece

Unfortunately, here in the states, less and less networks are airing anime. Cartoon Network. From 1998 to maybe 2007, anime was a mainstay on the channel. Voltron, Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT, Tenchi Muyo, Sailor Moon, Gundam Wing, G Gundam, Outlaw Star, Cyborg 009, Rurouni Kenshin, Ronin Warriors, Blue Submarine, Big O, Nadesico , Giganator, Astro Boy, and other shows

now, they only show about 3 shows on Saturday nights, and not even good shows mad

But the anime/manga industry is still going strong. Shonen Jump and Shoju Beat are highly successful, Funimation is slowly gaining success with their OnDemand channel, DVD sales are still going well, and there's a new manga series always being released

Yeah it's kind of the same story over here, that's why I *cough cough* download *cough cough* HD subs. lol

Yu Yu Hakusho is great, hard to believe it's a much older series but the storyline is great. Same with One Piece, I love animation with a good mix of humor and kicking ass.

You read any mangas? I read the mangas of Bleach Claymore and Naruto at the moment.

Yu Yu first came out here in the late 90s when the first movie was released. The series didn't come out here until 2002 or 2003...then found out the manga was first published in 1990 and ended in '96

the author Yoshihiro Togashi (who's married to the creator of Sailor Moon) went completely left field 3 years after YuYu ended with Hunter X Hunter. Watching them back to back (especially the early episodes of HXH), you wouldn't think they came from the mind of the same person

HXH does get a bit darker later on in the series, but it's mostly colorful and positive in the beginning

It's on hiatus right now in Japan neutral

I need to rewatch it because I've forgotten most of it lol

The author has taken a load of hiatuses so the US has caught up to the Japanese edition. the 26th volume came out in Japan in January of 2008 and we'll get it in January 2009 then we'll all have to wait until the author starts it up again

But yeah they tend to make jokes about the author since he takes so long to make new chapters, guess he's lving the good life. lol

I see they ripped of the title of Imago's sex tape.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

Cralls

I JUST saw it [5 Centimeters Per Second] and it was SOOOO good. It doesn't have really deep characters or plot or anything because it builds more off raw emotion than stories and characters. Just a warning. And it is SOOOOO incredibly sad!! But I loved it and highly recommend it!
