I've been really happy with my Canon T1i. I think it was $900 if I recall.

ur sevices are needed ZK...lol

Anything 2,000 or below, get a Canon. Best picture quality for the price at that range.

How about the D700 ZK raves about? Just for the body $2500+ so probably too much then. Cuddles could surely afford this though.
