I ONLY care about production on the field.
TO is not preceived that way by other players.
That is a media thing.

TO hasn't had ANY team drama since he left the Eagles. His falling out with Romo and Garrett was due to TO telling the truth about them busters. As Romo's horrible playing and Garrett's terrible play calling this season, can attest to. Everything he said about them two last year is killing us this year. nod

All I know is, the Eagles did great without him and then he came back for the Superbowl, and they lost.

The Bills won't throw to him. THE BILLS.

You can't put that on TO - he had a great game. It was Donovan who was shaky, and according to Owens, was throwing up in the huddle.

Come on, they changed offensive coordinator the week before the season started. And I'm confused him not getting the ball is HIS fault??? Nothing happening in Buffalo is his fault but of course because it's TO he'll get the blame. Did you see how that reporter was trying to bait him in that press conference??? Face it, TO is cast as Black Bart in the media and the public buys into it instead of looking at his recent history over the last 4-5 years.

biggrin

I'll repeat, the McCaskey's (WASP wanna be's) don't like players with a lot of mouth/drama, perceived or otherwise. Hell, they don't like Mike Ditka. When the Chicago built the new stadium, the McCaskey's called Coach Ditka and told him his name wouldn't be on the Bears tribute wall. Go figure.

I would be shocked if they pick him up.. shocked. eek

I wouldn't be surprised if there was stuff going on in the huddle we don't know about. It was TO that said Donovan McNabb basically quit/gave up/wore out at the end of the game. If he was saying that shit in the huddle, who knows what blown assignments that caused?

Uh, two totally different set of circumstances. confused Where as I believe the problem in Denver started with the firing of coach Mike Shanahan/coaches and the Broncos reportedly tried to unload Cutler in a three-way trade proposal that would have brought former Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel. How many teams has Mr. Cutler played for? Cutler's a homeboy he know the culture of the McCaskey family/Bears. I'm not here to say nay or yea, I simply pointed out the Bears don't like players with a lot of "drama" or what the perceived as players not being team players on the field and/or off. Go ask Cade McNown, Cedric Benson,Randy Moss, and Tank Williams.

Nah, I didn't make anything up, I just speculated on ways that TO could have screwed up stuff on the field.

T.O. is a polarizing personality isn't he? Either you love he last year draws or hate his guts. I love his later year draws. lol I would love him in Chi-town, but I doubt I got a stick up my ass McCaskey's would pull the trigger.

Now that I got someone down from Big Sky country. What happened down there... with T.O. and Dallas organization? Needless to to the the media (ESPN) really didn't tell the whole story nor the truth. Was it a case of actually T.O. being too popular in that locker room more then say Mr. Romo or at least with him in the locker room Mr. Romo couldn't be the main guy/leader? Was T.O. shocked and/or hurt being let go?

I agree perception vs reality can always shade things differently than they truly are. I think T.O. kinda has to take some blame for his part in that perception. I would've like to see this man get his ring though I fear time is running out.
