In addition to Prince, I also dig Disney. I grew up on both, Disney first when I was a wee youngster and then Prince, about when I was 12 or so when "1999" was released.

Anyway, searching through a Disney fan web site, lead me to a you tube link about Disney Parks. Well, Disney Parks added a new clip of something called Disneyland Canoe Races 2009 - Canoe Race Around the Rivers of America.

A few seconds into the clip, I had to do a double-take. Someone was wearing a purple shirt with a gold on it. Several women were wearing it. I guess they were Disney "Prince"cesses or the Former Disney Princecess cast members?

Anyone from SoCal and The Bump Squad recognize these Disney cast members from the Anaheim park?

How cool! I've been there many times and never knew they had these races!

Never knew either but it reminds me of the race I participated in this past summer -- the Great Maumee Dragon Boat Race in Toledo. Canoes, dragon boats -- both very cool races. My team bested its time by over 2 minutes from 2008 and we were bumped up two divisions.

Still, though, wonder how a team of Prince fans competed in the Disneyland race. Have to be cast members who all like Prince.
