Does anyone else like The Shield? I am so into this show. Last season (the first) spanked the Sopranos boring ass. Last night was the fist episode of seaon 2. Action, violence, fast pace, sex, murder, multi-ethnic, cops and corruption. Its on FX on Tuesdays. The 3 major networks have such blah shows its great to have some shows on HBO, Showtime, SciFi, Fox, and now FX.
If you are into the PAX channel, you might want to stay away. ---------------------------------

This is an amazing show!
The lead cop, played by Michael Chiklis (or something like that) got the Emmy 4 his work on this show last year. I think he's been nominated again. I was surprised that this show showed the things they show, and it's not pay cable! Cussing - like "shit" "bitch" "asshole", showing asses, tits (with the nipples blurred, as if showing the nipples is nasty), a guy getting head from another guy! etc... Not that including those things constitutes 4 a good show, but it's all done so well!  |
