Atlanta Housewife's Fiance Stabbed, Killed In Strip Club

ATLANTA -- Kandi Burruss, the newest cast member of the hit reality show, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is coping with the tragic death of her fiance, A.J., who has been featured regularly on the show.
Burruss' publicist, Lisa Nelson, confirmed to WSBTV.com reporter Brian Johnson that the incident has left the Atlanta housewife stunned and speechless. Nelson, who represented Burruss during the taping of the show, told Johnson that the family is asking for privacy during this very difficult time.

Man.....that is really sad. I love Kandi. She seems to be the only genuine one on there. Why is it all the bad things happen to the good ones. That poor girl. I wish I could just give her a big HUG. And what about his kids. Can't remember how many but I know there were a few.....Sad, very sad.

Probably bumped into someone or stepped on someones foot, thats how people are in clubs, not surprising at all, im sure there was an argument, it escalated etc....clubs just need to be closed down all together no one knows how to act anywhere.

Wow. What a shame and very sad. Prayers to Kandi,and AJ's children, during this time of their loss. So sad.

This makes me incredibly angry. I went to a nightclub/bar with some of my friends and there was a huge fight because some guy bumped into another guy. Then the next morning I find out that both of the guys in the fight were shot to death on I-75. Over someone bumping into them. GROW THE HELL UP. I believe Kandi said it was AJ's nephews that were in a car and hit by a drunk driver. I believe Kandi said one of the nephews was in critical condition. Not sure if anyone actually died in that crash.

First, I'm shocked and dismayed that this would happent to anyone. My prayers are definitely with Kandi and his children.

But, on the real, IMO this seems too random to be random. Since he owned the joint and the dude arrested was an employee this is not like a stranger walked up to him and killed him. They obviously knew each other. Plus, AJ was a former drug dealer so there could very well be more to this story that we may never know and no motive has been found yet so ain't no telling what really went down.

And I ain't trynna be ugly but even I know that a former dealer owning a skrip club is right up there with owning a car wash, rim shop, auto detailing joint. It's Wash that Drug Money 101.

His nephew was out with her nephews. They were all hurt but his nephew got the worst of it and was in a coma for a long time and in the hospital for two months. He's out now and undergoing physical therapy. I think he's 14.

I felt the same way. When they never disclosed what he did on the show, told me that he may have been up to something. It surely sounds like some drug-related or other stuff. Why else would they kill him in his own club?

You know, I read the comments section of one of the sites, and someone had a good point. There is page after page about the death of some guy who is dating some woman who is starring in a mind-numbing "reality show" about housewives who want nothing more than to be in the spotlight. That's it.

It's kind of depressing that this is news when there are people dying every minute. Is the vapid pursuit of fame the end-all, be-all of life in America?

I guess my feeling is, damn, too bad, but, who gives a shit given everything else that is happening in the world? Just a thought. I was flipping through and saw a few minutes of some new reality show and it really got to me that this form of "entertainment" is so popular that they pump them out like burps.
