From Nietzsche's "Thus Spoke Zarathustra"
The main character Zarathustra. "The character you could relate to, that opened your eyes, that changed your perspective or you just thought was cool" All of the above.

ALOT:
Ender - from Ender's Game. This child was born and raised to be something, and chose another path. His decision to do so brought with it a mountain of troubles. But he broke free of his 'programming'. I can relate to this on so many levels. Luna - From Harry Potter. I absolutely LOOOOOVE Luna. I swear, sometimes I can't stop laughing at the shit she says in those books. I can related to her awkward ways. Chad Kultgen - The book is called "Average American Male", and his writing style is direct and to the point. It strips away all adjective fluff and is completely conversational. I can related to almost everything he writes about and have been mimicking his writing style in my own books.

Elizabeth Bennet. Her mouth got her in trouble, too. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Scarlett O'Hara!
She's so strong and determined, but yet kinda bitchy and blinded. And she goes through all these trials and shit and never really learns a g-damned thing LOL! But she never gives up!!

Roland Deschain of Gilead from Stephen King's Dark Tower series.
He was ancient and futuristic at the same time, sexy and rugged and mysterious. I couldn't wait for each book to come out so I could find out what was next! Now I have the graphic novels! YES! he is my favorite of all the vampires, my reluctant, loving hero who I rejoiced at seeing everytime he appeared in another chronicle. I absolutely love Micheal Curry also, he's cut from the same tragic cloth. I have a thing for Anne Rice characters, they endure and I grieve when they are gone. I also love Scout in To kill a Mockingbird, as a child I think I related to her more than anyone else. I loved her spunk and that she was a daddy's girl. We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou

I always preferred Maharet, and was always waiting for more to be revealed about Mael. He really intrigued me. For my absolute favourite I'd have to say Claudia, but I think that came from the film more than the books. wiki describes it all
Gena "Mother" Newman- from matthew reillys scarecrow series Thirty-four years old, 6'4" in height with a fully-shaved head and weighing in at over 200lbs, Mother's callsign is not meant to convey maternal qualities, it is short for Motherfucker. She is ordinarily under the command of Schofield, but begins the story instead as Gunnery-Sergeant to Libby Gant. An encounter with a killer whale in Ice Station has left her with a prosthetic left leg from the knee down (it has served not only to provide mobility but to save her life frequently). Fiercely loyal to Schofield and possessed of a similar luck which has allowed her to survive several near-death experiences, Mother opts for a violent solution more readily than her unit leader. Her short temper and eccentric nature lead her to many hand-to-hand fights with adversaries often even larger than her. Possessed of a sarcastic wit, she is also the helpful best friend to Gant, often offering advice or insight into her relationship with Schofield. Although in awe of Schofield's achievements, she has managed to evade certain death many times herself and is indispensable to Schofield, both as a soldier and a friend. http://en.wikipedia.org/w...ow_(novel) would love to see this character on the big screen seems that i was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before

You gotta be kidding me girl, Louis is the whiniest vampire mofo in vamp lit - on the screen he's rivaled by Angel. You're virtually mortal and you need to feed on blood. Deal with it. How are you doing?

I can't think of anyone but I love the question. I tend to find a lot of books consolidate my thinking rather than create a hero as such
