Whistling Mufflers Has anybody heard this mess?They have mufflers that whistle on cars now.It is the most irritating thing you have ever heard.Who thought up this crap? | |

I never heard of those kind of mufflers before have you, is it really that annoying? It is VERY annoying!It is a HOWLING type of whistle that makes your skin crawl.The sad thing is they will be very popular among the younger generation. | |

lol... last weekend this car alarm was going off for hours in front of our apartment. I got so sick of it I called the cops figuring they'd write them a ticket or something. 20 minutes later I see a cop pull up followed closely by a tow-truck! He started to hook up the car to it when the girl downstairs ran out and started throwing a tantrum. Turned out the alarm went off and she couldn't turn it off. I felt bad but then I realized DAMN! What an inconsiderate person. She should have done something especially after the fact that she was literally 50 feet from it.  I mean, like, where is the sun? | |

Yeah... I've heard them. Both times I've seen these they were on cars that the kids had neon underneath. Very annoying... the whistling muffler and the neon. Thankfully they made the neon illegal around here so the majority of those are gone. | |

Who actually comes running when they hear a car alarm? What a waste of time and money. Just get a good immobilizer like everyone else I say.
