Simple Pleasures What are some of the little things in life that make you happy? Feel free to post pics of those things or that someone I was just sitting here thinking how much I love having a cup of French Vanilla coffee when I'm by myself and my enjoyment of Coca-Cola (yes I know it's bad for you, but dammit I like it ). I also enjoy spending time with my son (the teenage luv of my life ) Okay, your turn

(in no particular order)
- A new pair of shoes... - Listening to good music... - Hot chocolate on a chilly day... - The smell of vanilla... - Knowing I made a difference with a student... - Christmas morning... - Being hugged/passionate kisses... - Dark chocolate (the expensive kind)... Watching crappy movies (or really good ones) on the weekend with the hubby. Just him, me, a Basset on the couch and a St. Bernard at our feet.

Small Pleasures by Vasily Kandinsky:
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Well, that just sort of makes you drowsy in the end though. Maybe it's okay to just lie on the bed for 15-30 minutes and let yourself wake up properly, but lie there longer than that and you'll end up being tired for the rest of the day.

I usually lay there for over an hour trying to get up. Maybe that's why I'm always lethargic for most of the day.
