cloudy cool days, with homeade chicken noodle soup cooking on the stove and a nap!
Making my children smile
Cuddling with my husband
Christmas decorating
knowing i have a day off from work
morning coffee and breakfast
Yankee candles

I could just go on forever but i better stop here for now! biggrin

(in no particular order)
- A new pair of shoes...
- Listening to good music...
- Hot chocolate on a chilly day...
- The smell of vanilla...
- Knowing I made a difference with a student...
- Christmas morning...
- Being hugged/passionate kisses...
- Dark chocolate (the expensive kind)...

Watching crappy movies (or really good ones) on the weekend with the hubby. Just him, me, a Basset on the couch and a St. Bernard at our feet. cloud9

Small Pleasures by Vasily Kandinsky:

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Walking in (or on the 5th Ave. sidewalk right next to) Central Park

That first cup of coffee in the morning

The smell of ink published on paper (you know, like a good smelling book or comic book)

Those dark chocolate-covered graham crackers at Starbucks

The new TKTS booth in Times Square, which always makes me happy to look at

Well, that just sort of makes you drowsy in the end though. Maybe it's okay to just lie on the bed for 15-30 minutes and let yourself wake up properly, but lie there longer than that and you'll end up being tired for the rest of the day.

I usually lay there for over an hour trying to get up. lol Maybe that's why I'm always lethargic for most of the day. boxed
