Which dish makes for a perfect start into a day?

What do you like to eat in the morning? Do you prepare it yourself? How long does it take you to prepare it?

What I would absolutely fucking LOVE to get every morning would be an English veggie breakfast, containing baked beans, roasted vegetables (pepper, tomatoes, onions), roasted mushrooms, fried eggs (or a soft-boiled egg), chips and toasted toast with salted butter. All served with a cup of tea with milk.

OH LAWD. drooling

Your turn, I'm hungry and I want some recipes! hammer

Over the weekend I was making oatmeal. Very good breakfast! Especially since I am not an egg person. If I was, I would say a big omelette with lots of veggies

Weekdays I start with organic yogurt, kashi go lean crunch and tea with milk and sugar. I LOVE it. I don't get sick of it.

Weekends I usually make an egg sandwich on whole wheat (lower cal) toast w/veggie bacon and a light herbed cheese. And of course my tea with milk and sugar.

I looooove to go out for brunch on weekends, but I almost never do anymore as I get way too many calories. A yummy eggs florentine, an omelet with, say, asapargus and goat cheese, some fresh fruit on the side, rosemary potatoes, brie and strawberry stuffed french toast.... drool I LOVE breakfast.

I've just finished eating half a 6 egg omelette (sometimes I dont use yolks but today I had them all) with a little onion fried in oil and butter first, once the bottom is set I add sliced tomatoes and cheddar cheese and put it under the grill, then a side of baked beans and I added this parsley pesto I made, and have it on a couple of pieces of toast and finished with a nice cup of tea. Yum.

During the week, I usually eat a bowl of Special K and a banana.
Ever once in a while I get "cool" and eat a toasted buttered bagel or a muffin with orange juice.

On the weekends, I like to make pancakes, one scrambled egg, and turkey bacon.

Not a big breakfast person, but not into hunger either. shrug

On weekdays, when I'm immediately on the go, I do something light: A bagel, croissant or chunk of baguette; a fruit; and a cup of milk, orange juice or coffee.

On weekends or when I've got more time to kill, I get a bit more decadent: Two or three eggs hard scrambled, a nice steak, hashbrowns (with Tobasco sauce drool), wheat toast or pancakes drenched in real maple syrup, and a cup of ice-cold orange juice or milk and coffee. nod

And, yes, Tabasco sauce is one of the few things you Americans are selling over here in Europe that I'm really grateful for. lol

This thread was probably the first thread I started without any dick, ass and pussy in it, without excessive anal sex and deep-throating - it was just a normal, light-hearted, innocent thread about food. It was normal!

Thank you for ruining my attempt of living a normal, sinless life of a teenager. Thank you, Dan.
