I dropped $20 on the ground yesterday

I found $20 on the ground yesterday

I must have dropped it in the parking lot. cry ...and since I walk really fast, I must have been at a great distance by the time I noticed. (But certainly, I was walking too fast for a kind hearted soul to chase me down and return my money on my lunch break sad). Whoever found it and kept it better buy something nice...cause I starved myself.

20 dollars is a lot of money when you're unemployed. sad

It's not happiness to be me without my 20 dollars.

First! (that never gets old does it?)

I remember once when I was little I found $10 in the ocean and I thought it was a million dollars.

So I hope a kid finds it.

But yeah, that sucks to lose money like that.

That sucks. I use to always drop money like that. I would go into a store without my wallet, and end up dropping it while shopping, and then would frantically search the store looking for it.

The last time I lost money,it was in my wallet. I had set my wallet on the top of the car,and before getting in,forgot to grab it. disbelief I got lucky though, after calling all my credit card companies to have them cancel my cards,a very nice man showed up with my wallet, and everything was still in it. biggrin

I hope you get your $20 back, cause I truely believe in karma, and if the people that found it,just keep it,the same will happen to them when they are the ones that lose the money. nod

Yeah happens to me way too often as well. Same thing at the supermarket sometimes, because you're always in such a rush to get your stuff packed before the next customer, so you'll end up stuffing your money haphazardly.

Another problem is that men do not have purses. If you do not like wearing terribly baggy pants you're not going to be able to stuff absolutely everything into your pockets during the summer (I wouldn't wear a jacket during that time either). So you'll just put, uhm, some loose bills in your pockets.

Once I had such a terrible date that I accidentally dropped 50 euros during it. lol

hug It sux losing money.

I once was on the receiving end of finding someone's lost $20 bill. About a year or two ago, I was driving through a parking lot, and saw a $20 bill laying by the curb. At first, I was like, "That's not what I think it is, is it?" Then I looked again, and thought, "Yes, it is what I think it is". I parked the car, walked over to the curb, and snatched up that $20 bill. I was soo happy to get it, but wondered at the same time if the person who had lost it had realized that they had misplaced it. A bittersweet moment. Now every time I drive through that same parking lot, I find myself looking at the curb while driving by, to see if I can't find more money laying around. giggle
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Sorry that happened during this time. But do try to look on the bright side and give thanks that you have the love, support, and security of loved ones around you who can help out and carry you as far as the $20 could.

That being said, maybe send out a wish that that $20 will be discovered by one who is suffering, in complete suffering &seeing no light at the end of their tunnel, who might be able to put it to use to diaper a child, buy groceries at the market for a week, get medicine from the pharmacy or any number of things that we often take for granted. I know it sounds unfair, but maybe your accidental loss was somehow someone's blessing today. Inadvertantly maybe you helped to save someone from despair in some small way when they felt they had nothing or no one in this world.

In any case...don't spend too much time boo hooing about it. Make the best of whatever is sitting before you at this moment. That piece of paper will eventually return to you, probably disguised as a blessing or windfall when you least expect it. butterfly hug butterfly

When you're a kid you're often hoping for that you'd just "find money on the street" so that you could buy toys with it. Seriously, that's what we used to ask each other when we were little, "what would you get if you'd find [insert sum that seemed like a big deal in the 80s here] on the street?". It was usually like "LEGOS!", "AQUASKELETOR!".

I'm suspecting someone will just spend it for fun stuff! (read: beer, most likely)

She approached me at the wedding and was living in England at the time with a good job, however she liked me and kept in contact for a month and asked if she could move in with me up here in Scotland, she has not got any work and decided that we should move to a rented flat in her name as she wasn't working and she lies down on the sofa most days and at night when I need my sleep for work she is breaking my sleep. Needless to say she has piled on the pounds & I can't bear to make love to her anymore, I know that this may sound shallow to some however I can't help the way I feel.

Build the low compreshion motor. becuz the truth is that you may be able to get away with boost for a littel while, butt it will eventally kill the car. Put your money toward building a strong foundashion for the rest of the car. Take your time and build sumthing up you can be proud of. In a few yearss maybe you'll have a second more reliable car and you can get wild with this one. butt, onestly, i think Fords suck ass ...then again..i luv me sum 70s Fords...espeshially some of those Mustangs..butt sum of those suck ass too...we all know that...right?

Maybe you don't need a forged crank and rods now, butt it would be nice to have later. And in the long run it will be cheaper.and ass we all know..aint nuttin better than sum lowlife mofos staring at cha when you crusin down Bellamy with THOSE kinda rims.....Giavonnas ain t got shitt on them mawfuckas..cuz they the bomb...even tho theyre much cheaper butt cheaper dont always mean bad, you know? keep that in mind, always , when you into this,...shitt is more serios than you think...some peeps neglect everything else becuz of this, so you better show some respect.

I was having a conversation with my sisters boyfriend once, and he said that when he worked for Food 4 Less (that's a grocery store)he was outside picking up the carts, and found a envelope with $400 in it,and that he kept it! disbelief I proceeded to tell him how he should have turned it into the store, that someone could have inquired about losing it,how that money could have been there rent or bill money. I could'nt believe that he actually kept it! disbelief

I've noticed something about you. You never use contractions when you type. Is there a reason?
