Speaking of seasons, if it goes in accordance w/ the books how many books are there? Just trying to guess how many possible seasons there could be & the ratings are really good right now, even if it's sucking I don't think it's going anywhere just yet... There are 9 books. Book 10 comes out in May 2010 From what I've heard, the show is signed for 5 seasons. [Edited 9/1/09 13:26pm] I'm firmly planted in denial

I watched it last night. It was kind of a strange episode. Although Tara's mom gets on my nerves, that woman should win an Oscar. I really wish they would interview the actress that plays Tara's mom.....I just want to make sure she's okay. Heheheeee.
ADINA PORTER is her name. I finally looked her up. She's beautiful!!! [Edited 9/1/09 14:16pm] MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! Probably becase of Six Feet Under, we put Alan Ball to such a high standard , we expect so much out of him.

I've heard that AB is sticking a little closer to the book's storyline for next season. That makes me very I like book 3 "Club Dead". For those of you wondering WTF is up with Bill, book 3 will explain some things. Book 6 explains the rest, but I digress. I'm firmly planted in denial

I don't know though I read the first couple of pages of Dead untill Dawn and it seems to be pure schlock, enjoyable but schlock.I don't know how much candy I can stand in one setting. I really want to read them to see where AB is totally going away from what CH has written. I think Nothingbutjoy is going to have alot more people able to discuss book vs show by next season. The thing that's interesting about Lettie Mae is that while she's annoying as all get out, she's increasingly being proven not so off the mark afterall.
Looks like Ms. Jeannette, while she seemed to be a quack, did conduct ritual effective enough to stir up the supernatural... and Tara has wound up with her soul in danger as her mom feared. In the meantime, Lettie Mae hasn't taken a drink since her exorcism... and while the lives of everyone else around are falling apart, she's fine. Her biggest problem now is actually Tara's drama. Jeez, what happened to this show? The last two episodes have been terrible and
I got the feeling the finale is not going to be any better due to the fact that the Maryanne/Tara/Eggs/Zombietown story has gotten utterly ridiculous and I don´t think they are going to solve it succesfully It´s a shame because I love the series but it´s really gone downhill since Godric´s death

I'm sick of Bill being so unavailable & ineffective! Tara's mom is the biggest dumbass! Sick of Sookie thinking she's all supernatural & shit - how long was she gonna lay on the floor w/ that mf?? I swear the finale better be good, this episode was pretty weak & the "teacup humans" line was FUNNY . [Edited 8/31/09 2:11am] I wondered the same thing! Did it take her that long to figure out to hit him with a frying pan?

It was suspenseful to end it on Sookie/Zombie Lafayette, but they couldn't let her up off the floor until the end of the episode (b/c it ends after that) so I guess they had to spend more time establishing the whereabouts of the other characters. Still, they left her on the floor for too long

Well the actress who plays Tara was on Chelsea Lately last night and said that the ending was bittersweet with a HUGE cliff hanger, so I'm thinking Egg buys it half way through and a Major character seems to be dead by the end.
BTW the actress was smokin hot, they need to get Tara out of those braids. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

It better not be Sam, cuz then I'm through with the show. I just started watching in June. I would like to see Rutina Wesley's interview on Chelsea Lately. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!
