I start with three or four pillows and get rid of them all throughout the night. They end up on the floor and all over the bed.

I have six rather basic pillows.

I like to sleep with one half-underneath my stomach.

Having plenty of pillows is also rather useful when you're not alone in the bed.

2 memory foam
1 regular foam

My main pillow is a memory foam as well. Those things are wonderful! I then have two regular pillows on either side of that. If I can't sleep, I surround my head with my various throw pillows. It seems comforting somehow.

She made me one for my birthday with a beautiful paisley print fabric and a felt cloud and raindrops on it.

I like 1 really thin pillow otherwise I feel like my knecks at a 45 degree angle

nice big and fluffy. i use 2 for my head, sometimes one for my back.

and i put one between my legs

when i get my own place, my bed won't be too far off the ground, and i'll have pillows and cushions all around it - big ones, small ones...

a. 'what is the ideal distance for a bed to be off the ground?' is another great discussion point.

b. to all of you with more than 2 pillows--don't they get in the way, especially if you're already sharing a bed with someone?

and for me, i just want to be about a foot off the ground, i like low beds
