hokie

I cocoon myself with 3 pillows. I have a memory foam that I actually put my head on. The pillows have to be soft. I can't sleep if I don't have pillows to hug.

lol

I have a total of 4 pillows. Two are standard, and the other two are huge chenille covered pillows. I use 1 chenille pillow, and one standard pillow under my head,my dog has claimed the other chenille one as his. lol and the other standard is just on the other side of the bed. Are the memory foam ones any good? I think I need new pillows.

a. 'what is the ideal distance for a bed to be off the ground?' is another great discussion point.

b. to all of you with more than 2 pillows--don't they get in the way, especially if you're already sharing a bed with someone?

2 of mine are strictly decoration & go w/ the comforter. So they're constantly on the bench @ the end of the bed. I sleep on my foam, he'd sleep on the 2 that matched the sheets...

Judging by the amount of people on here who have memory foam pillows, I'm guessing that they're pretty good. I have a super-expensive memory mattress (my big 'demand' when I fell pregnant with my youngest giggle ) I really need some new pillows... I think I'll get some memory ones hmmm
I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

Not the least bit, you can always toss them on the floor anyway. In fact it's the only way to comfortably sleep with your arm around the other person. That demands however that both are comfortable sleeping on their sides with the head tilted upwards quite considerably. Having the right type pillows helps too.

Of course, I have no experience of how it would work out doing the same with the same person for years and years. lol

I build a wall in the middle of the bed, so no accidental straying over to my side might occur no no no!
