Aussie Idol Last year I knew as soon as I saw Wes Carr, but this year there doesn't seem to be a stand out for me

My friend made it into the top 100 and the next cut but won't be in the finals.

I only caught last nights, out of them only Lauren (who needs a wardrobe and hair overhaul to suit her voice) and Nathan should go through I reckon  | |

You're right about Lauren she does have a great voice Don't know why but for some reason the girls that have won in the past haven't really done much | |

A friend of ours didn't even get into the top 100 because she, silly girl  attempted a beyonce song with too many licks which she was too nervous to do well. They even told her, if she'd chosen a different song, more understated, she'd have had a chance

Love to comment on this, but here in NZ they have only shown the 2 audition shows so far, noticed a lot of Gabriella and Kylie wannabes. The girl who got told she sounds like Vanessa Amarosi is in with a chance though So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time | |

Hey, guess what, I saw that, too...I also saw that in Natalie Gauchie, Kate DeAraugo and Casey Donovan. Too bad nobody voting saw it. | |

What I don't get is how someone like her goes through depression, I mean she’s talented, pretty, has a loving family etc... Is she so spoilt that if she doesn’t get her own way she becomes depressed or am I missing something ? | |
