Started dating about 6 months after we met, got engaged 3 weeks after started dating (long story), got married 2 years after that... Been married for 9 years now, though it hasn't been going well for the last 6 months I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

I guess thinking about it Mon and I took our time getting round to tying the knot.  As I've said before though, I'd already asked her to spend her life with me after 3 days of being together and she'd said yes, so we felt like we were married for years before we officially were.  | |

Everyone is different. I have known ppl that knew one another a much shorter time and stayed happily married. I dated my ex-husband for 5 years before we got married. That was a mistake for me, though it is all good, it led me to where I am now. | |

Met July 1993, married May 1996, 1st kid 1998, 2nd kid 2000, 3rd brat 2002, she had her tubes tied 2003!

5 years. We met when I was 12 and he was 16, so it was just wrong, even though I thought he was cute. But what the hell did I know, I was 12!!
We just both happened to meet through my sister and her friends at the time. We would always see eachother at social events and such, then one day I was 16 and he was 20...and dear god.
We have now been married 26 years and have 4 kids together.  | |
