This book is the most hilarious, brilliant, thing I've ever stumbled upon.

I've been meaning to check that one out but I never got around to it. Give me a brief synopsis from your POV?

I'm still less than halfway done with it as I just started reading it, but I'm
so damned impressed that I would recommend it based on just the parts I've read.
I can't really give the plot away, but let's just say that the protagonist isn't
having the best time of his life. The correspondeces between him and other
characters is.... absolutely hilarious.

Paula, Michael & Bob

http://www.amazon.com/Pau...1843171562

It's about the British TV presenter, Paula Yates, and her affair with Australian Rock God, Michael Hutchence.

It's very salacious and hard to put down.

It might not translate well if you're unfamiliar with British culture though.

It's written by Paula Yates' ex best-friend - which are always the best kinds of books. lol

I just starting reading Concerning the Spiritual in Art by Wassily Kandinsky. (Kandinsky was a Russian artist who taught at the Bauhaus during the late 20s/early 30s.) I'm thinking that he, along with Marcel Duchamp, was one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Okey-dokey,

The last good novel I read was Fear Of The Dark by Walter Mosley

The last non-fiction I read was the Steve Harvey book I mentioned on the other thread. It's pretty light reading.

Right now I'm reading a good adventure novel by Robert Ludlum called The Ambler Warning.

If you like classics I highly recommend John Steinbeck, Charles Dickens and Alexandre Dumas.

If you want to go a little deeper, you could check out Thomas Merton or Karl Jung.

I detest most romance novels so I can't help you a lot there. lol
