I feel the same way - it doesn't really matter as long as care about them.

Age is a number. The true 'age' is a mental state, in my humble opinion. I have a cousin, 4 example, who's 38 years old, but he acts more like an 18 year old! He's so playful and charming because of that. And guess what, his girlfriend is 23 years old!

I can't say I prefer older over younger, or vice versa...if they can claim my heart then I'm sold. My worries mostly center around whether the age difference would be a problem 4 HER. I've had a relationship with a younger lady and an older one, both taught me a lot of things & gave me a lot of beautiful memories.

Age is a state of mind. Rise above it and just follow ur heart. Others may agree or disagree - but at the end of the day, all that matters is ur opinion, 'cos it's UR life u're living.

It doesn't matter if you are both in Love as long as you are of Legal Age!

Age most certainly matters if you mean to spend the rest of your life with someone.

A few years here and there aren't that bad, but drastic age gaps are unrealistic. If a 40 year-old marries a 20 year-old, in 20 years he'd be a 60 year-old ready for quiet nights at home while she would be 40 and still wanting to experience life out-and-about.

for me...by a few yrs in and around 18-24... nah.

but it does it does seem weird when someone old enough to be one of your parents or older siblings trys to hit on you.

age truly matters if you are an adult male with a messed up nose and your partner is a 12 or 13 year old boy.
