Surprisingly unsurprising choices.

I adore Tarantino, and have liked most of his films, but what was he smoking when he decided that Anything Else and Unbreakable where among the best movies made in the last 17 years??
Also, maybe it's just me, but Lost in Translation was incredibly overrated . [Edited 8/17/09 12:42pm] If you will, so will I

While, by my estimation, Anything Else is no better than the eighth-best flick Woody's put out in the last 17 years, it is underrated. Jason Biggs and Christina Ricci are excruciating, but the scenes between Woody's and Biggs' characters are priceless.

P.S. A wild and woolly one with Quentin on Stern, this morning. Refused to confirm or deny whether he's boned Uma (he did), divulged that Pitt was paid 9 mill for IB and that he broke him off a big piece of hash when QT visited him in France, to pitch the flick.

Also confirmed that he has a foot fetish, has been tempted to try erotic-asphyxiation and dated Kathy Griffin (who has a cameo in PF).

I loved the original Battle Royale - but the sequel was such a piece of crap.
And I really enjoyed Inglorious Basterds - anyone else seen it yet? I haven't seen a thread.

If I ever have the strength to I'll watch it again and pay closer attention to the scenes where they are together...but as it is now, despite my intense love for Christina Ricci even, I can't bear to watch this If you will, so will I

hey, we had to sit through it, why should you be so lucky? i wouldn't worry too much though, half the movies he listed the average North American wouldn't know about.
