I do the arm under the pillow thing, when I'm on my side. I do it because my pillows suck, so I use my arm to give my pillows a boost. Also, for some reason, it feels cool underneath the pillow

(1)Laying down flat both arms bent under your chest, head on pillow and hands up under the pillow. Face either turned to the right or left... I only turn to the left. (I just found out)

(2)Then, there is laying flat, but more losely, arms out but up over head... one arm under pillow the other on top... ~in hugging~ position.

(3)Then...there is the side laying position... head on pillow on it's side...one arm under pillow and the other arm hugging pillow....

I used to sleep on my stomach, but my chiropractor told me it was very bad to have your neck torqued for hours at a time. Now I sleep mostly on my sides, always flipping from one to the other.

I've been trying to break myself of the stomach position. The arm-under-the-pillow thing is comfy.

I wind up sleeping all sorts of ways, though, before the night's done.

Face-down, holding a pillow, unless I'm sleeping with someone else (which I prefer).
