Perez eyes Judge Sotomayor role

The Judge Sonia Sotomayor hearings are underway, and one Latina actress is already thinking about a biopic on the Supreme Court nominee.

Rosie Perez has said she’s eager to take on the role of Sotomayor if a biopic of the judge is ever made.

‘There needs to be a fearlessness in approaching that role,’ Perez told the New York Daily News. ‘I also think that to play her, you have to dive in and discover her true spirit.’
