You knew Rod Woodson. I have one of his jerseys hanging up in my closet.
My all time favorite 90's steeler player. Glad he has a ring even
if it was with the rival Ravens but he still regards himself as a steeler.
One of my favorite plays was seeing him coming on a corner blitz and
laying out then Houston Oiler qb Warren Moon. Unfortunately Warren Moon
had to leave the game. That was the only part of the hit i hated to see.

I knew it was another db that played with Rod Woodson at Purdue.
I just couldn't remember his name. Chris was pretty solid for the
Oilers back in the day.

Great news! As a die-hard 30 year Steeler fan I LOVE me some Rod Woodson (wit his fine self). Nobody deserves it more than this cat, (I'm old too)... lol

I went to school with Steeler David Little, (Larry Little's younger brother) from 6th grade to high school. He was the sweetest guy in the whole class and I was thrilled when he became a Steeler. Sadly, he died a few years ago...

No,i never met Terry Long but i know Duce Staley who's from my
hometown and i've met Yancey Thigpen a couple of times. I met
Donnie Shell when i was in middle school. He lived right around
the corner from my uncle. I know Donnie was a scout for the Panthers
for awhile i don't know if he still is.

All time greatest football player?

Yeah, but he was a little before your time. His pro career was shortened due primarily to injuries, but Leroy Keyes is still widely regarded as the best football player in Purdue history.
