Who are the most famous people you've seen live?

In 1997 I was at a concert with Michael Jackson in Gothenburg, Sweden.

In 2007 I saw Chinese president Hu Jintao in Gothenburg when he was present during a celebration of the trade between Sweden and China in the 18th century, which involved a ship modeled after an 18th century ship that traveled to China.

Prince, Mariah Carey and Gwen Stefani in concert.
But real live as in face to face, I use to work for the d-list actress Jane Seymour, and she always had a revolving door of d-list actresses walking through her door. I was not impressed, their beauty was all smoke and mirrors.

Barack Obama, Prince, Rick James, Morris Day, etc., Larry King--(met and spoke to-very gentlemanly and honest), Derrick Rose-(shook his hand and spoke for a few minutes), Teena Marie, Don Johnson when he came to Georgetown, SC to film "Paradise."

More musicians...but I'm lazy today.

My husband has met Dr. J who was very friendly and kind to him.

I have seen Prince in concert, I think, 9 times now.

I have met UT Gov. John Huntsman and his wife.

I think you mean "met in person" not "saw in concert", right?

If so, my answers are President Ford, Clint Eastwood and John Wayne.

I met Dr. J once, in 1976. It was a Rockets - 76ers playoff game. Back in those days, if you got there early enough and had the stones, you could sit on the floor, under the basket.

Which is what I did, for the sole purpose of shaking Dr. J's hand at half-time.

When he came back to the bench, I walked up behind him and said, "Dr. J! Dr. J!" I wanted to shake his hand.

He never even looked up, he just held up his fist, like "Right on".

I grabbed his fist, shook it, and said "Good luck!"

I was SUCH a goober.

Anxiety

one time i was in a bodega and lauren hutton and her son were there. my roommate and i were in line behind her when she paid, and when she left she forgot her purse at the cash register. so my roommate grabbed her purse and we chased her down the street, screaming "MISS HUTTON! LAUREN HUTTON! WE HAVE YOUR PURSE!!!" when she realized we weren't crazy stalkers and that we did, in fact, have her purse, she was very nice and grateful. nod

I forgot about meeting Scottie Pippen twice. The first time was at a club in Chicago. My brother was a bouncer/promoter and his girlfriend worked there also. He was in the VIP lounge and I went over to speak while my brother's girlfriend was serving him. He was a total dick and a bad tipper.

I met him again years later when I worked at Montgomery Ward. We sponsored the Bulls and he came to sign autographs. We'd catered a beautiful set-up with foods that we knew he liked. He came in and acted like he was so inconvenienced. After the signing he wouldn't even touch the food we'd spent hundreds of dollars to set up for him. He snubbed his nose at the food and walked out the service door with a towel over his head. Good for us, though...we got to eat it!

Michael Jackson - he was just walking around Universal Studios here in Orlando going from shop to shop with 4 big bodyguards and a crowd of dumbstruck people following him...two of those people being me and my best friend. lol

Prince - In concert in 2004

JC Chasez of Nsync - in a nightclub in Orlando.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar - in the same nightclub on the same night I saw JC...club was packed that night.

Shaq - at IHop...damn that's a ginormous man right there.

John Stamos and Rebecca Romijn - when the were still married at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Harrison Ford - also at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Howie Dorough and AJ Mclean from the Backstreet Boys - at Howie's Lupus foundation concert a few years back...O-Town was there also, but they really were never that famous lol

Orlando gets alot of famous folk mainly because of Disney World and Universal Studios so you get to see how really uncool and normal they really are. My roommate used to work at the now closed Pleasure Island at Downtown Disney and she saw P!nk and Corey Hart get kicked out of a club and lose their hotel room key and had to call security to help them find it because they wouldn't leave her alone. She also got to watch as a very drunk John Stamos picked up 2 very young looking girls one night and saw Neil Patrick Harris making out with his boyfriend at a Cirque De Soliel show (she worked there too)...this was before he announced that he was gay, so when he finally came out publicly she laughed and said 'duh'. lol

I sat in a ski lift with Rob Schneider in Tahoe a couple of years back

Smoked a blunt with George Clinton just before his concert

Drank beers with Paul Weller after his concert

Drank beers with Erlend Oye (Kings Of Convenience) after their concert

Got a kiss on the cheek from Me'Shell Ndegeocello after her show

Shook hands with Prince after the Vegas NYE aftershow 2006/2007

These are a few, I'm not counting the concerts I have been to.

I've met too many artist too mention including Prince which was super cool. But if you want to count "world importance" I would say the last three American Presidents. Out of the three Pres Obama was the best! I already told the story here awhile back but we talked for a few minutes about official business and after that he gave a speech and we spoke briefly again but this time I got to be me and not the Air Force version that I had been earlier. I actually said in front of a large group of people, "Sir, we've been MySpace friends for a year now, how come no shout out?" Well the President smiles and says "Man, I'm sorry let me give you some love" and we actually did a fist pound that I got a picture of. Now that was super cool and compares with my Prince exp and being on stage with him. Pres. Obama is a bad mf!
