I'm feeling very happy and positive. Whats the kindest thing you've heard lately? I heard a couple things today. A friend told me that I would make a very good dad someday. I also was told by the girlfriend that I can cook well and thats a big turn on. That made me happy. So guys its your turn. IF all these negative threads can catch fire, let something good catch fire.

I have a couple of things, both linked..

I recently told a good friend that I wanted to be more than just friends. He told me I was an 'amazing person' but he just wants to be friends. It upset me because I thought it was bit over the top and he didn't really mean it. When I told him this he was genuinely surprised and said he really did mean it, I am an amazing person and he loves spending time with me.

Linked to this, I have a long term partner. Things haven't been that good for a while but we are good mates. We had a serious talk a few weeks ago about where we're going, should we break up etc. and he said the sweetest thing to me. He asked if I had feelings for the friend I mentioned above and said if we're going to break up then he wishes we'd get together as he hates the thought of me being by myself. I thought that was so kind.

completely changed my week.

An old friend, whom I have seen the first time in several years last Friday, has told me that I have turned into an idol for women and that she is sure I will be a good husband and father someday.

The man I'm seeing said he saw a guy in his 60's out with a much younger girl that he assumed was in her 20's or 30's. He said in his opinion the girl wasn't attractive at all. The man was strutting around like he was it though because I guess he thought he was hot stuff because he had gotten this young girl to go out with him. He told me that when he saw them he thought to himself that not everyone was lucky enough to have such a cute and sweet woman in their life the way he did.



That made me smile for days. Actually I'm still smiling over it.
