What's the interest in it? What's it all about? Who on here tweets? I'm kinda out of the loop But seriously, what's the Twitter attraction ?

That's a good question; I've been wondering the same thing. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Twitter is limited to a short amount of words. It's like quick-blogging. I mostly only use Twitter to describe in short (with a link) what I might be discussing on my blog.

twitter is like the status update on your facebook/myspace... and nothing else. i really don't see the point. why does every hot new social networking site offer less and less while becoming more popular than the last one?

So when you make a new post on Twitter... is everyone that's following you immediately notified? I guess that's better than having to check someone's blog all the time for new posts...

I think that makes it easier to use. Simpler.

Twitter is a marketing tool. At least that is what it is becoming.
It's also for those people holding a phone to their ears while driving having meaningless but enjoyable small talk... kind of the same thing psychologically. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

If there's a link, then you get the "jist" or headline and if you want to hear/see more then you just go there. At least that's how I mostly use it in connection to my blog. I've seen others do the same.

It kinda is. If it wasn't popular at the moment and a possible "tool" for getting the word out on other art-related stuff I do, I wouldn't do it at all. As it is I never remember to do it daily as with my other sites/pages.

I also appreciate your home decorating tips a lot. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! I just clicked the link, it came up fine. Thanks for the compliment! You´re right, sorry. I´ve tried it again, this time going there from this thread, and it came up. I tried it from your profile page before and for some strange reason it didn´t come up. I´ll check out your paintings now. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! Twitter is for self-important people who seem to think that the world is interesting in knowing what their updated status is. I for one, do not use it at all.

As lame as I think it is....many people are obsessed with following other people's tweets.

Given my internet track record. Me and Twitter don't mix. Seems useful to some folks, though.
