Is It Just Me Or Has Facebook Turned Into A Big Bitchfest

I have noticed lately that Facebook has become the place where u go when u want say nasty things and insult or abuse someone. And unlike Myspace where people made up fake accounts to harass someone ,people dont even seem to bother to try and hide who they are on facebook, they just straight out attack.
I know of people who have been stalked and harassed by their exes as well. With the whole MJ thing I saw where some were making memorials to MJ and people were straight up going after them even though they dont really know them. Its absolutely astounding to me shake
Funny thing is I know people that have been banned just because they added too many people they did not have "Mutual" friends with...wtf?
Facebook used to be a fun place (even though I was confused y it at first lol) Now Im at the stage where I am seriously considering deleting my account...ggez I'd much rathet twitter...and coming from me thats saying ALOT because zzz lol

Yikes! I don't see any of that on facebook.

But if I did, I'd just delete the people who were creating the drama.

I seem to see alot of it with comments made on other peoples status, although my family had some issues as of late. People found themselves deleted quick smart nod

I don't use my real name on Facebook to keep away from the drama.

I'd find myself not logging in to Facebook if that was the situation. Who needs more bullshit?

Ive never experienced that...i joined using my real name in hopes of meeting up with people i have lost track of...old GF's...school buddies...work mates...etc. & most of my friends are reletives.

I have noticed in my 17 yr old nieces facebook page how really imature they can be. Ive never seen so many self absorbed teens. shrug

its tempting to comment on some of her pics..but i dont need the drama in my life..(kwim)
So I just MMOB.

I haven't noticed a change. Maybe it's just the people on your friends list.

I haven't noticed that.

What I have noticed is that it seems to be the place to post the most mundane happenings of your life. That, and it's the place to take a lot of quizzes.

facebook is generally pretty mellow for me. when someone gets too obnoxious for my tastes, i just hide their news feed for a while and hope they eventually settle down. shrug

I haven't figured out that hide option except when accepting new friend requests.

And somedays I'm totally busy posting Youtube links; I'm sure I get hidden on. lurking

when someone pops up in your feed go over to the right of that post... a "hide" button will pop up.

i'd never hide you lol

i spend way more time on myspace than i do on facebook, but i haven't had any major problems with it so far. but i can see where you could be easily bothered there by people you don't want to be bothered by. one of my ex-boyfriends did find me there.

I use myspace to keep up with the musical artist im interested in. Facebook seems like AIM on steroids to me. I don't really care if my friends are at starbucks, taking a shower, or walking their dog.

If I was that concerned I'd pick up the phone. rolleyes
